One of the many notable blasts we've performed was for a large municipal water treatment plant expansion in Tempe, Arizona. The significant challenge of this blast was that the site was a mere 75 feet from the Arizona Historical Society. Our engineers coordinated with the museum to ensure the safety of its visitors, exhibits, and building. Our detailed plans and scaled distance planning, using seismic monitoring minimized vibration to the museum and optimized the safety of this blast.

During the widening of US Highway 93, the Arizona Drilling and Blasting team achieved 250-foot high cuts within 20 feet of a heavily traveled road. We limited and maintained traffic closures to 5 minutes and kept debris from covering the roadway. We've worked with pits and quarries in Arizona, Wyoming, New Mexico, Montana, and North Dakota.
