The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has recently released its latest list of the nation's top sand and gravel producers, ranking them based on their production tonnages for 2023. We are excited to announce that Fisher Industries is now ranked number 17 on the list, up from our previous ranking of 19.
In 2023, sand and gravel producers across the country collectively produced approximately 967 million metric tons. According to the USGS, the top 100 sand and gravel-producing companies in the U.S. accounted for about 52 percent of this total. The combined production from these top 100 companies in 2023 was 504 million metric tons.
